Try clearing its cache. Before you try this, please note that you might have to add your songs or playlist back to WMP. But just to be safe, create a backup of the \”Media Player\” folder itself.

If clearing its cache does not fix it then it may be something between Win 11 updates and the legacy WMP, a bug. Windows might look in to that, but they may not put too much attention to it as they\’re moving on to a newer version of it in Win Have you tried to test it on WMP 11?
