One person found this helpful. As a lot of people have pointed out, this is largely a knock-off of Simpsons:Tapped Out. Which one you prefer will probably ultimately be decided by whether you\’re more of a Family Guy or Simpsons fan.

Personally, I like both shows, and both games. The Tapped Out game has better writing, I think – I\’ve generally found the quest dialog in that game to be much funnier – but The Quest for Stuff definitely wins on graphics and sound effects. I started playing shortly before the Quahog ComicCon event started, and I definitely have to give serious praise to the developers for the quality of the event. Frankly, I think they put more work into this one single event than Tapped Out has in total for all the events they\’ve had in the past year that I\’ve been playing it.

If Family Guy can keep up with further events of similar awesomeness, then that\’s definitely a major advantage they have over the Simpsons. There\’s one major issue that keeps me from giving this a very high score, though, which is stability issues. I have a Kindle Fire HD, and the game crashes constantly. The only way I\’m even sort of able to play it is if I reboot the Kindle first, and even then I only get to play about minutes before it locks up.
